This is a highlight of any trip to the Palm springs area. The PS Ariel Tram travels over one vertical mile in just ten minutes to whisk passengers to an alpine environment from the desert floor. The views from the rotating tram cars are beyond description! Beautiful hiking options can take you all the way to the summit of Mount San Jacinto (10,834 ft.) or just for a stroll through the pine forests near the tram station. There is dining and a bar at the top for those interested in a different type of adventure!
